have you learned soh cah toa?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

heard of it but havent learned it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sin: Opposite/Hypotenuse cos:Adjacent/Hypotenuse tan:Opposite/Adjacent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have trouble figuring out which is for which side ;[

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for your options is it tan25=x/30, tan30/x etc. or what? they look weird

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. when you do either sin, cos, or tan the hypotenuse is always the hypotenuse. it's never the adjacent or opposite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so in this case your answer is sin25=x/30

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i have another question like this i just dont know which is hypotenuse, adjacent, and opposite

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go ahead
