This is the description of the movement of a point in time. x and y are its coordinates. Just let the time (t) begin at 0 ans then calculate x and y for every value of t (0, 0.1, 0.2 and so on). Plot the coordinates and then you will see the path the point follows. As this is rqther time consuming, it is more convenient to use a program like Geogebra or a graphical calculator like the TI-84.
