Is this enough Exercise for me?
So, recently I decided to start exercising and change myself (actually for the 6 packs) :3 Basic Info first: Age: 16 Height: 5'11 Weight: N/A (maybe around 55 kg) Im skinny, with little muscles. I don't need exercise for legs as I walk 2-3 km a day with a heavy bag (school to home). Im fast in running. I had a really bad eating habit before and ate once in 48 hours, and even that was a small amount, but I do drink ALOT of milk. Now I started eating alot and twice a day, and seriously Heavy meals compared to the ones before, i can feel my stomach full to the extent now. Mainly because I wanted to gain Muscles and fitness (6 packs doe). I exercise once a day, I do 50 whatever they call it on the "Ab King Pro", 5 push ups (lol those are hard) and 50 wall push ups. [this is Average] But sometimes I increase the exercise like today i did 70 on Ab King Pro, 6 Push ups etc etc. And Sometimes I do 50 on Ab King Pro once and later that day 50 again. Everything varies on the mood. And may I add, I also started drinking water alot because back then I used to drink 2-3 glasses of water in a week, now I drink 2-3+ glasses a day. The Question stands, is this Enough for me? Am I not doing enough? Would I get 6 packs? How long would it take? Please don't answer by telling how much amount of Calories I should take and Proteins, as I don't understand anything about this like that :P Just tell is this Exercise enough? Considering I want to work on my Arm muscles and 6 packs, the questions are: 1) Is this Enough for me? 2) Am I not doing enough? 3) Would I get 6 packs? 4) How long till my 6 packs arrive? 5) If there is anything I should add to this routine, please tell.
P.S: I would increase Exercise as my Muscles grow stronger.
what i do/did was work out constantly running is a good way to do it also but you need to eat or else your body wont be able to get what it needs. I ate after i worked out that way i would need to eat more and would be able to work out longer on the next set/lap. don't give up because it will take time achieving your goals

Hi, Coming from an athlete and four year health student, you don't need to workout to get a six pack. I've had plenty of six packs throughout my martial arts career, but they're not in the slightest beneficial in the real world (other than getting women). You have a layer of fat covering your abdomen. You can workout all you want, you can lift the heaviest weights and do a million reps, but you'll never see the six pack. You need to perform intense cardiovascular activity to reduce that layer of fat covering your abdomen muscles. "Don't talk about calories and protein." Oh, but I will. Gains are made 30% in the gym and 70% in the kitchen. You need at least 200 grams of protein a day to recover properly. You'll also need to intake potassium and amino-acids. Consider buying Protein Powder and Protein Shakes. (It's cheaper) If you workout then come inside and eat cake, well, you just lost all your progress. It's easier to lose gains than it is to gain them.

Of course. You want to workout your chest and abdomen, but you don't want to emphasize that. You want to cut calories because you're trying to lose weight. Muscular workout =/= losing weight. You need to run and do cardio-level exercise. You should ALWAYS do muscular training before cardio. So, make a routine. Cycle those YouTube videos I gave you, doing one every-other day. After you get done working out, take 10-15 minutes to rest, then go outside and jog a mile. Or rather, jog until you can't jog anymore. Have a stopwatch with you to track the amount of time you jog. Each time you jog, increase your time by 10 seconds.
P.S: I just googled Cardiovascular Activity, i seriously need exercises that help improve the consumption of oxygen in the body. My throat starts burning and I have trouble breathing after I run for like 5 mins. P.P.S: I run fast though.
Fast =/= good. You need to run LONG. Have you looked into HIIT?
My point was, yes I have good muscles but the Fat is covering it up like such that it isn't visible.

Everyone has muscle from birth. Six packs are an issue of fat. Look up HIIT M100s.

Don't stop. If you have to, slow down to a snail's pace. But never stop. Working out is a mental state, a mindset. Don't become conscious as a quitter. Continue.

@Compassionate 1 last thing! I wanted to know if what I was doing now is good... I exercise on the "Ab King Pro" like this: 1) Exercise 2 mins 2) 30 sec Rest [Repeat 8 times] p.s: used a stopwatch. After this all My energy got drained. I was soaking in sweat. About 2-5 mins after this, I felt a pulse in my Belly. A weird feeling, tingling. Would this work? About the Protein shakes, due to some reasons I can't afford it right now so maybe later. Wanted to make one thing clear, you were telling me to Eat More? But not get fat? Did you mean less fats, more proteins and fibers? I don't really know what Food contains what so gonna name some things, tell me if they are good. 1) Wheat 2) Meat 3) Pulses 4) Yogurt 5) Milk 6) Bread 7) Jam 9) Honey 10) Eggs Basic ingredients in my meals. I am not the kind of guy who eats fastfood. I do like "Coca-Cola" and "Pepsi" (Carbonated drinks) but now I try to drink as less as possible. More water.
I personally just hit the gym and do whatever I want. I think you're giving yourself plenty of exercise. As for the 6 pack, however.... only time will show.
Is the Ingredients in my Diet good?
Yes they are excellent, but dont use too much of them.
1) Wheat - Cut it from your diet. It has glucose 2) Meat - Yes 3) Pulses - Yes 4) Yogurt - Only low fat 5) Milk - Only 2% skin milk (blue cap?) 6) Bread - Cut it from your diet. 7) Jam - Cut it form your diet, jam is full of fructose and syrup. 9) Honey - Cut it from your diet, full of sugars. 10) Eggs - Good. As for your exercise, try jogging a mile a day, THEN perform this workout.
By eat more calories, I mean, eat ptoatoes and meat. These two things are your best friend to bulk up. Stay away from sweets. Lean meat, fish, eggs, peanutbutter, tofu, rice, potatoes, - these things are your biggest ally. Don't forget fruits and veggies, too. Make sure to eat A LOT of bananas, as they have potassium.
Well, I don't know how to Cut Wheat from my Diet as in my country, EVERY meal has a Roti/Paratha/Chapati/Flat bread and without it, our meal doesn't finish. Basically this is THE Meal itself. We eat this with EVERY meal, i mean EVERY! The Milk, we get it Pure. It's not boxed or anything. Just pure Cows milk, fresh and Natural. The jogging a mile a day, i can do that but can't now. Well, let the summer Holidays come and as soon as I am free from School, i will try Jogging everyday Early Morning. P.S: I will fill the "Lifesaver" form as soon as Im free, busy now... :)

Peaceful neighborhoods. Im actually located in a Housing Residency for Retired Pilots so it's quite peaceful. (im a civilian, nothing related to air force) :P
I was about to say, if you live in North-West Pakistan, it's best not too jog. Might get blown up by the USA and United Kingdom. Ha ha. Describe the types of food you have there. Can you go to the store and buy meet? (Beef, pork, chicken?)
LoL. Yes, i can buy meat. Beef and Chicken, no pork. BUT, due to some reasons, Financial Problems. P.S: More chances of getting blown up by US of A :P
I can tell you some things... I can get meat once or twice a week. But other than that, we get alot of Vegetables to eat. Like Spinach, Potatoes, Tomatoes. Alot of green vegetables. Yes, the Wheat Roti/Paratha/Chapati/Flat bread are a Must with it! Without it the Meal is only 15%.
Why no pork?
Pakistani food is amazing. I can see why it'd be hard to cut wheat from the diet.
Well, no pork for a couple of reasons. My religion forbids me to eat it, before you start judging, it's for our own good. Due to some Scientific reasons. - A pig will eat anything including urine, excrement, dirt, decaying animal flesh, maggots, or decaying vegetables. They will even eat the cancerous growths off other pigs or animals. - The meat and fat of a pig absorbs toxins like a sponge. Their meat can be 30 times more toxic than beef or venison. - When eating beef or venison, it takes 8 to 9 hours to digest the meat so what little toxins are in the meat are slowly put into our system and can be filtered by the liver. But when pork is eaten, it takes only 4 hours to digest the meat. We thus get a much higher level of toxins within a shorter time. - Unlike other mammals, a pig does not sweat or perspire. Perspiration is a means by which toxins are removed from the body. Since a pig does not sweat, the toxins remain within its body and in the meat. - Pigs and swine are so poisonous that you can hardly kill them with strychnine or other poisons. - Farmers will often pen up pigs within a rattlesnake nest because the pigs will eat the snakes, and if bitten they will not be harmed by the venom. - When a pig is butchered, worms and insects take to its flesh sooner and faster than to other animal's flesh. In a few days the swine flesh is full of worms. - Swine and pigs have over a dozen parasites within them, such as tapeworms, flukes, worms, and trichinae. There is no safe temperature at which pork can be cooked to ensure that all these parasites, their cysts,and eggs will be killed. - Pig meat has twice as much fat as beef. A 3 oz T bone steak contains 8.5 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork chop contains 18 grams of fat. A 3 oz beef rib has 11.1 grams of fat; a 3 oz pork spare rib has 23.2 grams of fat. - Cows have a complex digestive system, having four stomachs. It thus takes over 24 hours to digest their vegetarian diet causing its food to be purified of toxins. In contrast, the swine's one stomach takes only about 4 hours to digest its foul diet, turning its toxic food into flesh. - The swine carries about 30 diseases which can be easily passed to humans. "Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." Al-Qur'an, 005.003 (Al-Maeda [The Table, The Table Spread]) This verse of Holy Qur'an clearly shows what meat not to eat. If you go to youtube and search "farm to fridge" you will see how they Slaughter Pigs, and other animals. - The trichinae worm of the swine is microscopically small, and once ingested can lodge itself in our intestines, muscles, spinal cord or the brain. This results in the disease trichinosis. The symptoms are sometimes lacking, but when present they are mistaken for other diseases, such as typhoid, arthritis, rheumatism, gastritis, MS, meningitis, gall bladder trouble, or acute alcoholism. - The pig is so poisonous and filthy, that nature had to prepare him a sewer line or canal running down each leg with an outlet in the bottom of the foot. Out of this hole oozes pus and filth his body cannot pass into its system fast enough. Some of this pus gets into the meat of the pig.
