OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need to shift "g(x)" to the left by 4 units

@mathmale

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

to shift right by 4 units : replace x wid (x-4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how would the new equation look @ganeshie8 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be: g(x)=-8(x+4)^3-2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No wait! it would be: g(x)=-8(x+4)^3+2 I have to shift 4 units left and reflect across x

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

g(x) = -8x^3+2 to shift right, replace x wid (x-4) g(x) = -8(x-4)^3 + 2

@ganeshie8 can you help me with another one?
