How did the attack on Pearl Harbor cause the US to abandon its neutral position on the war between the Allies and Axis Powers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is this a test question? or an essay question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

essay question..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor the US could no longer stay neutral because Japan brought the war to US soil. The bombing killed over 2,500 people. The US could no longer sit back and stay away from the war and went after Japan for the bombing.

I'll try my best .. whats the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What factors contributed to the rise of fascism in Germany?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok .. so basically the Germans felt the Treaty of Versailles was too harsh. The Germans were poor and after the Great depression they were left with nothing including hope or spirit. This caused panic from not just the people but the government as well. The Germans were defeted in WWI and they were angry and desperate. All of this made way for the National Socialist party to take over German government.

Hopefully that made since

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you so much! I seriously appreciate this.

No problem.. glad I could help
