8n+6=10

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

Hello and Welcome to OpenStudy! :) to solve for n, you want to get n by itself so 8n + 6 = 10 the 6 is crowding the 8n so subtract it from both sides -6 -6 8n = 4 but then the 8 is crowding the n so divide it from both sides /8 /8 because 8 divided by 8 equals 1 and we like 1n = n so n = 4 divided by 8 = (which you can simplify)
