There are many ways to prove geometric problems. This is one way. Not sure how much more detail or less detail your teacher expects.

I think I may have a better proof: Angle G = Angle D They are the opposite angles of the parallelogram CDFG and opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent. Angle D = Angle A They are the opposite angles of the parallelogram ABDE and opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent. Angle G = Angle A Transitivity
