I don't know how to precisely define it..but here it goes.. I felt this way many a times so I tried to work on the pattern (yea, I do this kind of stuff pretty often). Such songs tend to appeal to a particular emotional state and if I happen to feel the same on my first contact; the song just clings to me (or maybe the opposite :P ). As long as that song is inaccessible (like, if I don't know its name; I can't find it) I feel like I can remember each and every beat. Then, one day I'll get that song on my PC; go through the lyrics; play it over and over again. As I won't be in a single emotional state for my entire life; over time the song gets mixed with other feelings and the intense appeal it made to me on the first contact keep getting dissolved. Finally a day comes when I don't even pay attention to the song when it plays; like I became deaf to it. And that's how I get to know that I need to buy another album :D

TBH I never really scored much in English (or in any other language). Using an e-dictionary makes life so much easier :)
