What is the probability of rolling a single die and it landing on a prime number? (Remember, the number 1 is not considered prime.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Any guess? There are 6 sides of a die. How many of that is prime?

OpenStudy (sonyalee77):

For the numbers 1-6, 3 of them are primes - 2, 3 and 5. So three possibilities out of 6, or 50%.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are these all your questions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember that prime numbers factors are 1 and itself.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/6 or 1/2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The prime numbers are 2,3,5.
