Can some one help me trough this problem? Factor f(x) = x4 + x3 – 8x2 + 6x + 36 completely

OpenStudy (mathmale):

I'd start by listing all the possible integer factors of 36, both positive and negative. If you know synthetic division, that would be the fastest method for determining whether or not any particular integer factor of 36 is actually a root of the given polynomial. Know synth. div.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes then i would be able to graph it

integers: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 36 and i just have to set it up for synth. div.? @mathmale
