Yeah ! Well the median here is between 1 and 8, and the median doesn't change when introducing an outlier. So only the mean will be affected. Since the average number of calls is between 1 and 8, we cannot introduce a lower outlier, hence a higher outlier will increase the mean number of text messages sent daily.
