OpenStudy (confusionist):

Find the missing side length of a triangle. Side A: 3x-2 Side B: 6x+6 Perimeter: 13x+11 Can you work out the problem for me along with finding the answer?

OpenStudy (opcode):

Hmm, I may be going at the wrong approach of this but have you ever heard of, "The sum of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the third side."

OpenStudy (confusionist):

Yes, I've heard that. :) The equations are just tripping me up. I know the Pythagorean theorem, but I can't deal with the equations.

OpenStudy (opcode):

Let me work this out on paper I'll get back to you in a second if I solve it :-P.

OpenStudy (confusionist):

Thanks. :)

OpenStudy (opcode):

Okay I solved it, scanning the paper, just a second :-).

OpenStudy (confusionist):

Wow, thank you so much! I'm sorry I didnt get you the medal sooner! :)

OpenStudy (opcode):

LOL. I don't work for medals, I am just trying to stay sharp. Anyway, if you need any more help with this or need a better explanation just tag me :-).
