Describe The Bohr Model Of The Atom. @mathhelpplease12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay. I remember this. Do you need just a short description of what the Bohr model is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, Well the Bohr Model was created by Niels Bohr in 1913. The model shows the atom as a small, positively charged nucleus with electrons. The electrons travel in circular orbits around the nucleus. If it helps, think of the solar system. My teacher always used that reference. The nucleus is like the sun... The planets are like electrons

Now This Question.. What Is Another Name For The Bohr Model?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Eeek. Um. I'm not sure. My best guess would be The Planetary Model. Because the Bohr model is a planetary model of the hydrogen atom.

Alright. Thanks You(:

Yep!

I'll Go with That!
