discuss the impact of peter the great

OpenStudy (awesome781):

The impact was huge. Western European technology was imported by Peter in the late 1690s and continued until his death in 1725. Peter visited the Netherlands, France, England, and some of the German states hiring skilled craftsmen to come to Russia - - especially in areas such as ship building.
