**MEDAL** **FAN** Let f(x) = 5x – 26 and g(x) = 6x. Part 1 [4 points] What is (f ◦ g)(x) ? Part 2 [2 points] Use complete sentences to describe the method you used to solve this problem.

OpenStudy (btaylor):

(f ◦ g)(x) is the same thing as f(g(x)). So, you plug g(x) in for x in f(x). You get 5(6x)-26 = 30x-26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f (g(x) ) is f(x), where you replace x with the equation with g(x) 5(6x)-26 30x-26

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I just plug in then.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So would my answer be, the 30x-26?

OpenStudy (btaylor):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would you mind helping me on other questions?
