s=4n+4v solve for n

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

to solve for n, you want to get n all alone. so for s = 4n + 4v subtract 4v from both sides -4v -4v s - 4v = 4n then divide both sides by 4 /4 /4 /4 so n = (1/4)s - v
