Why is frying an egg an example of a chemical change?
b/c ur changing the egg. its liquidous and becomes more solid.
(when you cook... it produces a smoke)... heat was involved.... and an example of chemical change is cooking....
A. atoms are lost during the reaction as bonds are broken B. atoms are gained during the reaction as new bonds form C. the products have different properties than the reacts D. the properties of the reacts are seen in the products
Frying an egg is a chemical reaction/change since the protein in the egg white becomes a denatured solid and turns white, which cannot be reversed by physical means. In general, the properties of the cooked egg are completely different compared to the properties of the raw egg.
