What is 20 * 20 ?
What is 21 * 21 ?
etc.
Find the largest whole number that when squared you get less than 479, and the smallest whole number that when squared you get more than 479. Your answer is between those two numbers.

i feel sooooo dumb now i just completely had a blank all of a sudden and i have my middle school kid ask me and i just could not even think of it no matter how much i thought about it.  lol...... thank you!! hate when that happens!!
