2^n+15 is divisible by 2

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

( 2^n + 15 )/ 2 = 2^(n-1) + 15/2. 2^(n-1) will be an integer for n >1 and thus divisible by 2 15/2 has a remainder of 1 and thus NOT divisible by 2 Therefore, 2^(n-1) + 15/2, for n > 1 will have a remainder of 1 and therefore NOT be divisible by 2.
