You paint 3/2 of a wall in 1/2 hour. Your dad paints 3/4 of a wall the same size in 1/4 hour. How do your rates compare? A. I paint 1/4 as fast as my dad does. B. My dad paints half as fast as i do. C. My dad paints twice as fast as I do. D. I paint twice as fast as my dad does.

I'm going to put the problem in different words. You paint 1.5 wall in 0.5 hour 1.5/0.5 = 3 Your dad paints 0.75 wall in 0.25 hour 0.75/0.25 = 3 That's my interpretation of it, but i must be missing something.

@joshawad What am I doing wrong?

OpenStudy (joshawad):

1 1/2 of a wall in 1/2 and hour 30 minutes 3/4 in 15 minutes so u are getting more done

OpenStudy (joshawad):

oh idk

But the question is asking about rates. The rate is the division of wall over time as far as I am aware. XD this is confusing.

OpenStudy (joshawad):

I don't do rates
