P parenthesis E exponents M multiply D divide A add S subtract that is the order of operations. try to do all of the problems in that orde and you will get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 - 4 x 3 + 6 x 3 no parenthesis no exponents now multiply 2 - (4x3) + (6x3) 2 - 12 + 18 no division now add this is where it gets trickey. you have to subtract first now that the subtraction comes first in the equation. (2-12) +18 -10 + 18 now add -10 + 18 = 8
