Which of these statements is NOT true? A. Advertising is not a contributing factor for underaged alcohol drinking. B. Teens are more likely to have unprotected sex when drinking alcohol. C. About 28% of high school seniors are binge drinkers. D. Underaged drinkers are more likely to contract a sexually transmitted disease.
pretty much all seam reasonable, not sure about the 28% one
d
really? if B is true, and the number of STD's is proportional to the amount of sex being had, then D nesseccarily
follows*
idk what you are talking about
well if only one statement is not true, as the question indicates, then if D is not true, B must be true. But if B is true then Teens are more likely to have sex under the influence of alcohol. To contract a sexually transmitted disease (STD) you have to have sex. the more sex you have the more likely you are to contract it. since underage drinkers are more likely to have sex (if B is true) then from D must be true basically, if kids have lots of sex, then there more likely to get an STD. if drinking alcohol means you have more sex, then drinking alcohol means your more likely to get an STD
o which means that they keep canceling themselves out and the only one that is right must be c
cant really say to be honest. just that D cant be false if only 1 thing is false
