Write the product as a trinomial.
(m – 6)(m + 3)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
First you need to find the product. Do you know how to do that?
OpenStudy (jacobbirddog):
it would be 18m right?

You would distribute the first into the second.
So the first part is (m - 6) distribute it into the second as so:
m x m + 3 x m
also m x -6 + 3 x -6
And you would add the two together as so:
m*m + 3*m + m*-6 + 3*-6
Try to finish this portion of it. Complete the multiplication and combine like terms.
OpenStudy (jacobbirddog):
A.
m2 – 18
B.
m2 – 3m – 18
C.
m2 – 3m + 18
D.
m2+ 3m – 18
i keep getting c
OpenStudy (jacobbirddog):
why of all days trimonials -_-
OpenStudy (anonymous):
You're very close. It's actually B. 3 times -6 would be -18, not +18.
OpenStudy (jacobbirddog):
well thanks for the help :)
