quick question!! about what to multiply it by? and why? With fraction problem 3/5 why do you multiply it by 7?? and with 8/10 why do you use 2? i don't see it. Equivalent Fractions.
i know the answer to these both, but I DONT UNDERSTAND how to figure out what number to multiply it by?
I don't understand your question. Are you asking why
8/10=4/5 ?
yeah, 8/10 they times it by 2. which is 16/20 but why do they use 2? and in 3/5 they used 7 which is 21/35 i just dont understant how they pick what number to ties it by
times*
Who are 'they', and your question makes no sense. You can multiply any fraction with another fraction. You can simplify any fraction with their greatest common divisor.
