yeah, 8/10  they times it by 2.
which is 16/20 but why do they use 2?

and in 3/5 they used 7
which is 21/35

Who are 'they', and your question makes no sense. You can multiply any fraction with another fraction. You can simplify any fraction with their greatest common divisor.
