can anyone help me wit this problem..
Twelve wrestlers compete in a competition. If each wrestler wrestles one match with each other wrestler, what is the total number of matches

This is the way I would do it.
You have twelve wrestlers.
_ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ =
The first wrestler has to wrestle 11 other people.
11 + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ =
The second has 10 other people (12 - himself - guy 1)
11 + 10 + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ =
The third guy 9
11 + 10 + 9 + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ + _ =
etc.

I think there's a shorter way, but I can't think of it at the moment, and this was just the way my brain works.
