**WILL GIVE MEDAL** 2. Do you think Hammurabi’s laws were fair? Why or why not? (Write at least 3 sentences.) 3. Look at this document of weird laws in the US and write down which 3 laws you think are the strangest that are still on the books today. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YYHKOJ-Q5j1t3_Zt9Zgavt8iH9or8OvZEbFwae8aki0/edit?usp=sharing
2. Sorry i dont know the Hammurabi law 3.It is illegal to play dominoes on Sunday (Alabama) In Halethorpe, it is illegal to kiss another person for longer than 1 second (Maryland) In Nashville, you must be 18 years old to play pinball (Tennessee)
Whether or not Hammurabi's laws were fair depends on a person's point of view. one way is Because the laws did not favor the rich. The rich got the same punishments that the poor got. A fair law is Law 122. It states that if someone gives something to another person for safe keeping, that it should be witnessed and a contract should be made between the two parties. I think it is fair because if the person loses the item the other person isn't responsible for it, and won't get in trouble. Some of Hummurabi's rules were fair and others were not. think that law 233 is fair because if you don’t do a good job you should not be paid for it. It is fair that they have to buy the material with their own money and labor because they didn’t do a good job and got paid for it anyways.
thanks ^w^
