If you have an x-intercept = 5 and a y-intercept = 6 find the slope and the y-intercept.

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

i will do the easy half of ur prob: y-intercept is 6 :)

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

kidding aside, u got 2 pts from the intercepts: (0,6) and (5,0) so u can calculate the slope = (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)

oooooh okay duh lol I was over thinking the whole thing Thanks!

OpenStudy (superdavesuper):

welcome :)
