Can you please help 8th grade math Explain how to find the sum negative sixty-five plus positive forty-one using a number line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you want the answer to the problem or is the answer how you use the number line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to use the number line to find the sum you must first make a number line long enough to COVER ALL THE NUMBERS BETWEEN THEM THEN YOU MUST GO FORTY ONE SLOTS TO THE RIGHT AWAY FROM NEGATIVE SIXTY_FIVE AND WHATEVER YOU LAND ON THAT IS YOUR SUM WHICH YOU SHOULD LAND ON NEGATIVE TWENTY_ONE
