Society doesn't "take" decisions, it can come upon a consensus. Science is not about converting beliefs necessarily but about understanding nature. Answering questions about life seems to be the best answer for this one.
i do agree with ur point of view..... but.. w.r.t me...now-a-days...most people want to take decisions based on investigations....
