I need help with this following question from my text book. In the expansion (x+y)^10 write the value of the exponent k in the term that contains c) x^ky^4 and x^k-2y3K. I know you use the formula (nCk)(x)^n(y)^n-k, but I don't know how to simplify after to get k??? Can someone help

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

n = 10 n-k = 4
