n a recent survey of 50 10-year olds, it was discovered that 14 liked both McDonald's and Burger King. Overall, 36 of the children surveyed liked McDonald's and 24 liked Burger King. How many of the children surveyed did not like either restaurant? Please show your statistical thinking to support your answer.

Okay, so, it's 50 kids. 14 of them liked both mcdonalds and burger king. so, out of the 60 that liked all of them put together, we can cancel out 14, because 14 liked both. That leaves us with 46 that liked either one, so there were 4 that didn't like either.
