Which two inequalities would you use to solve |2x – 4| < 5? A. 2x – 4 < 5, 2x – 4 < –5 B. 2x – 4 < 5, 2x – 4 > –5 C. 2x – 4 > 5, 2x – 4 > –5 D. 2x – 4 > 5, 2x – 4 < –5

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Are you sure the inequality sign is less then ?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

Because if it is, I would solve it like this : |2x - 4| < 5 -5 < 2x - 4 < 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is!

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

so I guess it would be : 2x - 4 < 5 and 2x - 4 > -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! could you by any chance help me with one more? @texaschic101

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

ohhh...I am sorry but I have to go somewhere. I will be back on later. Again, I am sorry
