From the similar triangles in the diagram , how do you write a proportion using the ratio WV/WX ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

VY/VX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because faith u gotta match the triangle in terms of angle measure and then you can figure out which side lengths match with what

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's a confusing question, because there are 3 triangles there. The answer could be a couple different things.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@yeamraz but WX wouldn't be the same length as VX would it ? Wouldn't it be XY whose measurement should be proportion to WX ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jbell0385 would one be WV/WX = VY/XY ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmm let me check.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jbell0385 alright .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe that would be false.
