When 262.5 grams of calcium carbonate react with 533 grams of aluminum fluoride in a double replacement reaction, what is the mass of aluminum carbonate that can be produced? I will give medals to anyone that can help me with this!! Please!!

OpenStudy (mertsj):

You must first write the balanced equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Tried that and I don't know how to do the rest?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Well perhaps if you would post your balanced equation, someone would help you.

CaC+ AlF-->CaF + AlC

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I don't believe that is the correct formula for aluminum floride or for calcium floride. You must get the balanced equation right.

CaCO3 + AlF3 -->AlCO3 + CaF3
