# 2

@annasjuice @Mertsj Can you please help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All this hard math, just BLEW UP MAH MIND :p

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well for question 2) 10x-.2=5 solve for x is .52 one of your choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no. i don't think i did it right.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, i think i got it. let me try again.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Private messages @annasjuice the answer...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you figured out #1? Try breaking down the shape into smaller rectangles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ShadyyKatie i just dun feel like writing the answer here so i pm'ed anna the answers so she can write it on here; -sarcastic-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know, im a genius! but i leave the credits to her;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is 2.91765 one of your choices for question 2?

OpenStudy (shadyykatie):

.52 isn't on of my answer choice for number 2. #2: A. 0.3 cm B. 2.2 cm C. 2.8 cm D. 1.8 cm #1 answer choices are: A. 50 ft^2 B. 41 ft^2 C. 42 ft^2 D. 38 ft^2 *Soryy everyone I forgot to post the answer choices for y'all*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For #2, you know that the entire line is 5 cm long. So section one + section 2 must = 5. You can now solve for x. To find length MN, simply use your calculated value of x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your answer should be 2.8 cm exactly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question 2. this is how you do it. since it wants measurement from M to N, you need to find x 7x+.1+10x-.2=5 solve for x when you solve for x, you'll get x=.3 plug the x into the equation that is from M to N 10x-.2 10(.3)-.2 = 2.8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You shouldn't provide full solutions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're right @KinzaN
