@wio
response variable = dependent do you plot the dependent variable on the x axis?
no
usually on the y
whats bothering me is number one because it is also called the dependent variable but the question says "it used to"? help?
@agent0smith
@wio
@sourwing
@beccaboo333
i was saying d
Sorry, I do not know.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dependent_and_independent_variables ctrl+F for response variable.
I take exception to "used to be". Is there REALLY any author so powerful and definitive that names of things SUDDENLY change in ALL the literature? It's just silly. Maybe to the author of the question it "used to be". It's still okay to call it that.
^yeah I think it's odd too, but it may mean "in this particular course"
so what would you say as your answer either A or D?
@tkhunny
meh, flip a coin... if your course uses response a lot, go with A.
Ha!! Didn't think you would be making judgment calls in a math class, did you?!
