Simplify arccsc1/2. Would it be no solution?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

yes

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

@Mertsj thank you! how about for this question? Solve for x for 0 ≤ x < 2 π . tanxsinx - tanx = 0 0 π/2 π 3π/2 2π

OpenStudy (mathmale):

TTOP: Please factor that tan x out of tanxsinx - tanx = 0 first. What happens, then, if you set that factor, tan x, = to 0? x=?? Secondly, after you've factored tan x out of the given expression, you'll end up with sin x - 1 = 0. How would you solve this for x? You'll end up with two different x values. What are they?

OpenStudy (ttop0816):

0 pi & 2pi?

OpenStudy (mathmale):

0 is fine; the sine of 0 is 0. But what about that 2pi? is sin 2pi - 1 = 0?
