OpenStudy (anonymous):

Compare renewable and nonrenewable energy sources, and discuss the effects of each on biodiversity.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just need help with the "discuss the effects of each on biodiversity." part

OpenStudy (zale101):

In order for you to answer your question, you first must get an outline or an idea of how to differentiate between renewable and nonrenewable energy resources. http://www.conserve-energy-future.com/ and what is the term "biodiversity" mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Biodiversity - The number of species in an area.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know what nonrenewable and renewable resources are. This is what I have so far: Renewable: A resource that can replace itself over time, or has an unlimited supply. Such as corn, and air. Nonrenewable: A resource that can't replace itself over time, and is limited. Such as oil, and coal.

OpenStudy (zale101):

since you already compared the renewable and nonrenewable resources, now contrast them by discussing how renewable resources interacts with biodiversity and how non-renewable resources interacts with biodiversity. That's what your question basically needs.. http://migratorysoaringbirds.undp.birdlife.org/sites/default/files/impacts%20on%20biodiversity%20of%20renewable%20energy.pdf i might not give a good help to this question but this link might help

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

biodiversity pertains to the variation of species in an ecosystem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nincompoop Can you help me? I just need help with the second part on discussing the effects of each on biodiversity.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):
