hartnn (hartnn):

"The sum of five consecutive integers" you need an expression for this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes @hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

know what consecutive means ?

hartnn (hartnn):

integers with difference 1 are consecutive, like 2,3,4,5 or 100,101,102,103.... so lets say we have middle number as n, consecutive integer less than n will be n-1, and consecutive integer greater than n will be n+1 so as of now we have 3 consecutive integers n-1, n , n+1 can you try to find the remaining 2 ?

Ahhh i seeee

So, @Anecia23, what did you get for your sum of 5 consecutive numbers? Are you surprised by the result? What do you get if you average an odd number of consecutive numbers?
