Finding volume is similar, but with one more dimension--height.

the volume of a rectangular prism is length * width * height

the rectangular prism AKA cuboid has a volume of 7*8*9 = 504 centimeter cube
or 504cc (Cm^3)

And here's a calculator that will do it for you http://1728.org/recsolid.htm and (even though you don't need it for this problem) it also calculates surface area which is 382 square centimeters.
