Why White Blood Cells lives only just 14 days?? although why red blood cells lives 120 days??
Macrophage I believe
Do some research on it.
a very interesting question indeed.. i am explaining it..as RBC s are related to gaseous transport in the blood so they can stay longer as their function is only transport and exchange at specific location of the body.. whereas WBCs are related to the immune system of the body, they need to be very specific and they need to work very accurately after coming out from blood vessels, interacting with foreign bodies, so as soon as there is little decline in their activity they are removed and destroyed by macrophages.. I hope this will be helpful.thank you
Need To Describe More.. I Still didn't get uuu :(
They live a short life because they have a hard job to do; to carry oxygen and carbon dioxide, both gases are very corrosive and toxic in high concentrations. Also, they lack a nucleus, which contributes to their short life span.
^^ she is talking about red blood cells.....
