S = 6r^5t for t

OpenStudy (anonymous):

taking log on both side log(S)=log(6r^5t) log(S)=5t(log6r) log(S)/log(6r)=5t t=log(S)/5log(6r)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

t = log(s)/5log(6r) is the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes this is the answer.

Can you help me with another one? :D

yes sure

Let f(x) = x^2 + 6 and g(x) = x + 8 / x. Find (g o f)(-7) I have no clue how to do this. It's really hard. lol.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its simple we know that f(x)=x^2+6 and we have to find (gof)(x) so we simple put the F(x) in g(x) g(x)=x+8 /x g(f(x))=(x^2+6+8)/x^2+6 g(f(x))=(x^2+14)/(x^2+6) so basically (g o f) means G of function x so g(f(x))=(gof)=(x^2+14)/(x^2+6)
