If the area of a rectangle 24a2b and the length is 8ab2, what would the width of the rectangle, given that width is found by dividing area by length? Simplify the answer.

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

that width is found by dividing area by length width =area/length right ?

OpenStudy (ikram002p):

width=24a2b / 8ab2, ( u can note that a2b in both of numerator and denominator so we cancelate it ) :D *_* width=24/8=3 got it ??
