OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade are you in ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its just reflected across the y axis, thus making the x value of the coordinate negative. this is simple stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he is right its just reflected

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, make the x value of coordinate E negative since it is reflected across the Y axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't get it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok. one of the characteristics of a kite is that the points are the same distance from the middle. so since E is the same distance away from the origin as G, we know that it is reflected. when you reflect something across the Y axis, you make the x-value of the coordinate point negative. so, since E is (a,0), then when we reflect it, we make the x value negative, and it becomes (-a,0). <--- this is our G point
