Oops I forgot to take out D as an answer. I don't know if it really is the answer? I chose it and they said I got it wrong. I'm about to retake.
oh, I am sorry, I think it 's C a regular verb because the irregular verb ends in irregular rule

like read - read -read run - ran -run when regular verb just need ed at the end like pretend - pretended, deserve - deserved
