The graph of f(x) = x^2 is shifted 3 units down to obtain the graph of g(x). Which of the following equations best describes g(x)? g(x) = (x + 3)^2 g(x) = x^2 - 3 g(x) = x^2 + 3 g(x) = (x - 3)^2

@satellite73 Can you help please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

last answer was wrong, i think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this one is easier three units down, subtract 3 and get \[ g(x) = x^2 - 3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wanna do the other one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure! so the last one was not 19 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i don't think so lets go back to that post
