Elizabeth is applying to be a summer camp counselor at Loon Lake, where there will be swimming and boating activities. Here is the first sentence of her application essay: I have loads of relevant experience such as babysitting and going boating with my dad, and besides, I'm a good swimmer. Which of the following rewrites conveys the most precise meaning? Taking care of kids at camp is right up my alley because I've watched over kids in my neighborhood for ages, and I also like boats of various types, and I'm not a bad swimmer. I have lots of experience that would make me a good counselor, including babysitting people around the neighborhood, riding in different kinds of boats, and being a strong swimmer. I'd be the best camp counselor because I have all the experience you could ask for—babysitting, years of boat rides with my dad, and lots of summers swimming in the city pool. My experience includes 6 years of babysitting children ages 4 to 8 as well as over 10 years of familiarity with rowboats and canoes and a certificate in life-saving and water safety.
C
sorry I meant B not C
I think it's D because it's the most precise meaning, in which it explains how many years of experience she has had, the ages of all the kids she's looked after, and a detailed explanation for what she is trained/experienced in.
your right @killjoyandproud, @JadeAllen make sure you put D
That's what I thought it was but wasn't sure
