Trigonometry Question Help! Will give medal to best answer! Question and picture posted in reply to this post.
Here it is.
@RICARDOismyfirstname
143.24 degrees
the radius of the circle is 6 ; using 2PiR you get 12 Pi ; 15 feet over 12 Pi = .397 ; you multiply that by 360 degrees to get the answer. cheers
Yeah, he got it spot on, But I'm not all too god at that stuff yet.
theta / 360 = 15 / (2(12)pi)
Use the fact that the ratio between the angle and a full rotation (360) is equal to the ratio between the arc length and the circumference (2 pi r)
wow @fiercesteak thank you so much can you help me with one last one? that will be all
@wio could you help me with one last question?
What is it?
here it is
The first question: 20 because in a 30 60 90 triangle, the shortest leg is half the length of the hypotenuse
the second question: if the shortest leg is x the second shortest leg in 30 60 90 triangle is xsqrt3 so it's 10 divided by sqrt 3
All the the triangles are proportional
sorry the first question is wrong; it's the hypotenuse of the 2nd biggest triangle; it's 40sqrt3 over 3
now the answer to the last question is 20
so the second answer would be?
@fiercesteak
second answer would be 10sqrt3 over 3
sorry double that
double the answer?
20sqrt3 over 3
so 11.54?
that's what I got ~~
cool and for the third question the answer would be 20?
yup :)
for the first question it would be 23.1 approximately?
well thanks for the help! :)
yes and my pleasure :)
