You mean in the Secret Annex. Since the Annex was upstairs, and I believe there was a warehouse downstairs ( the workers were unaware of the Frank's exsistance) the family had to stick to a strict schedule to keep their presence unknown. Between 9AM and 5:30PM they were to remain quiet because every sound upstairs could be heard downstairs.

In the moring at about 6AM, they would wake up and eat breakfast. Miep would come by in the early mornings to get their grocery shopping list for the Franks. Between 12:30pm and 1:45pm the workers downstairs went home for lunch so those in hidding could walk around freely, use the restroom and have lunch. When the workers returned at 1:45pm, Anne and her family would take naps.

After 5:30pm, everyone was out of the warehouse and they had freedom. They would eat dinner and were allowed to walk around as much as they pleased. They ate dinner, and cleaned up after themeselves. I also remember Miep brought them a radio so they could listen to the BBC (I think) at night.

born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, Anne Frank lived in Amsterdam with her family during World War II. Fleeing Nazi persecution of Jews, the family went into hiding for two years; during this time, Frank wrote about her experiences and wishes. She was 15 when the family was found and sent to the concentration camps, where she died, in March 1945.
