yup bar chart will work...because there is no relationship between the activities, no need to use histogram.

Data is how many students eating what kind of food...probably use a bar or pie chart - just because a pie chart will look like a pizza ;)

Bar is fine...pie will be shown as a circle with proportion based out of 360 degree for the total. Either way should be fine :)
